Student Leadership Team

Student Leadership Team

Our student leaders were chosen after completing an application, video hustings and an interview with senior members of staff. All are outstanding role models for Saxmundham Free School and where able to demonstrate the 6 C’s during the interview process.

Our student leaders and prefects have all taken on the responsibilities of duties in the morning, break and lunch time to help promote good behaviour in our school.

Deputy Head Girl, Grace Lloyd and Senior Prefect, Carrie-Ann Pearce also run a Key Stay 3 homework club on a Thursday lunch time to support the younger pupils with their learning and promote high aspirations.

Recently, the student leadership team have promoted Jeans for Genes day. The team helped promote the cause during a whole school assembly which educated our pupils on the difficulties faced by those with genetic disorder. This is just one of the fundraising activities that the team have planned and there will be many more to follow.

The application process for the Student leadership Team will open again in April of the Trinity term to recruit for this exciting role. The application process will be open to our current year 9’s who believe they have the qualities to be a student leader and a role models for our school.
